WHO CAN JOIN OUR CSA?

At present, we offer CSA membership to anyone living in the following states:
NY, NJ, VT, NH, PA, MA, RI, DE, CT, MD, VA, WV, OH and the District of Columbia.
If you are interested and would like to see if we can ship to you, contact us.
If you would like to purchase our meats, but live outside our CSA range, pleasevisit our Store pages.
We ship anywhere in the country!

HOW IS THE MEAT, CHICKEN & CHEESE PACKAGED?

Please keep up the great work!
Tonight we had the brisket which had simmered away in the crockpot all day.
So tender, delicious, and nourishing to our tummies (and the earth)!
Yours is the only meat we eat now, not only because it conveniently arrives on our doorstep but because we can feel good knowing where it came from.
We still don't eat meat every night, but oh, when we do we enjoy it twice as much as ever.

All cuts are packaged in vacuum-sealed cryovac, are good for up to 12 months and are shipped frozen.
We ship in custom made insulated boxes that will keep the meat cold for up to 3 days.
Your cheese is shipped after aging at least 60 days and will continue to age for as long as you store it in your refrigerator un-opened.

WHERE CAN MY SHARE BE SHIPPED TO?

Your share can be shipped to your residence, apartment, office, parents, etc!
If you live in an apartment please leave a note on your door to leave the box if you will not be home. It is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours if your share has not arrived as scheduled.

WHAT IF I WILL NOT BE HOME ON THE DELIVERY DAY?

That is OK!
Just give us a call (315-347-4352) or send us an email to let us know and give us another week that would be good for us to ship your box.
Please give us at least 24 hours notice if you can.

I JUST RECEIVED MY SHARE AND IT IS NOT FROZEN, IS IT OK TO EAT?

Yes, as long as the temperature of the meat is not above 50F, the meat is safe to eat.
All of the meat is shipped frozen and should arrive mostly frozen, however if there is a delay in delivery of your share and it thaws you can still eat the meat.
Just think of meat you bring home from the grocery store, you can just as easily place your cuts in your refrigerator or freezer and the great thing is: no freezer burn because our meat is cryopacked to keep air out!

DO I HAVE TO PRE-PAY FOR MY SHARE?

Yes ... and No.
The beauty of a CSA is it gives us the funds we need to take care of the ranch on a day-to-day basis without having to go to a bank and paying interest!
So if you can, please prepay the amount of your share, it really does help us a ton!
However if you would like to join, we do accept a limited amount of installment payments on our shares, email us for details.

CAN WE VISIT THE RANCH?

Yes, please remember that 'just stopping in' probably will catch us either out in the 'back 40' working on fence or in the meat room filling orders that needed to go out yesterday!
We would love to have you visit, so just give us a call to make sure we will be around and available to give you a tour!
