Meet our Ranchers
Our Heritage Hereford breed of beef cattle was established near Hereford, county of Herefordshire, England, nearly 300 years ago and is raised by Dan and Chris Huntley on there several hundred acre farm in Canton, NY. They took over for Jesse and Krista Barton who are working on getting their goat ranch going. There son, Jarrett is providing us with ( in limited amounts ) his free range chicken eggs. They are working on offering grass fed goats milk cheeses and more in the next year. Stay tuned to hear about what kinds of cheese and other products they will offer!
The second Heritage breed, the Suffolk sheep originated almost 200 years ago on the rugged southeastern coast of England and were chosen due to the excellence of their meat. Raised on the 8 O'clock Ranch in De Kalb Junction, NY by John & Kassandra Barton and their two sons, Eathon and Cole.
Pastured Yorkshire Pork is raised by William Burkett of Potsdam, NY. He and his family harvest over 800 acres of hay as well as care for his herd of 150 + pigs. It is about you, making healthier food choices for you and your family, deciding on where your food dollar goes and knowing what it is supporting. By offering organically and humanely raised meats, eggs and coffee to you every day, cutting expenses by dealing directly with the people who raise it and allowing us to serve you with your best interests at heart, you are helping us to become a sustainable business.
